Sistine Chapel Guide is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Holy See, the Vatican Museums, or any tour operator. The Vatican Museums are the sole authority on their own prices, opening hours and rules. Always confirm details at museivaticani.va before travelling.

Accuracy

We check prices, hours and closure dates monthly and after any announced change, and we date every page. Even so, the Vatican can change arrangements at short notice, and we cannot guarantee that every detail is current at the moment you read it. Information here is provided for general guidance and does not constitute travel, legal or financial advice.

No bookings

We do not sell tickets or tours and take no commission. Any purchase you make is a contract between you and the seller, and we recommend the official Vatican Museums ticket office.
